Academia to tech Advocate
My path into the tech industry has been anything but traditional. I started my career at UC Berkeley, where I worked closely with students in the Master’s in Data Science program, helping them transition into tech roles and excel in their careers. Through my work, I had the opportunity to engage with professionals from top companies like Spotify, Amazon, and eBay, gaining invaluable insights into the strategies that drive success in the tech industry.
While at UC Berkeley, I realized my passion for career development, technology, and helping others navigate their professional journeys. This passion led me to transition into tech myself, where I have worked as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, and Salesforce Consultant, specializing in bridging the gap between technical solutions and business needs.
Beyond my role in tech, I am an active public speaker and content creator. I regularly speak at UC Berkeley’s Master’s in Technology program, sharing insights on breaking into tech, career growth, and leveraging AI for professional development. Today, I speak at tech events and conferences, helping professionals and career switchers understand the evolving landscape of technology and advance their career in the space..
Through my online content and mentorship, I strive to make tech careers more accessible. My goal is to demystify the transition into tech, providing aspiring professionals with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to take their careers to the next level.
